Armenian translation (Հայերեն) coming soon.
Armenian food is among the world's oldest cuisines and the Yerevan restaurant scene has caught up to major European capitals in the last five years. GeraEats connects every major restaurant category — Armenian traditional, Georgian, Russian, Lebanese, Italian, Asian, vegan, fast food — to your door in 25–45 minutes.
Regulation — RA Food Safety + Consumer Rights
Restaurants on GeraEats Armenia must hold a valid food-safety registration with the RA Food Safety Inspectorate (Սննդամթերքի անվտանգության տեսչություն) and operate in line with the Ministry of Health's hygiene standards. The platform verifies these on sign-up and re-verifies annually. Consumer disputes (wrong order, spoiled food, late delivery) are handled under RA Consumer Rights Protection law with a written refund/replacement policy displayed at checkout.
Pricing in AMD and commission
- Typical main dish: 2,500–6,000 ֏ (khorovats plate, pasta, burger, lahmajun trio)
- Delivery fee: 500–1,000 ֏ depending on distance
- Minimum order: usually 3,000 ֏
- Commission to restaurant: 15–22% (competitive with Wolt / menu.am)
Local payment rails
Idram is the dominant wallet for food orders in Armenia and is the one-tap default on GeraEats. Full set of options: Idram, Easy Pay, Tel-Cell, Arca card, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Cash on delivery is available on select restaurant partners.

Yerevan use case
A family in Arabkir orders Friday-night dinner for four — a khorovats platter, tabbouleh, a Georgian khachapuri, two soft drinks — total 7,800 ֏ plus 700 ֏ delivery. Paid in two taps with Idram. Rider arrives in 35 minutes with temperature-controlled packaging. Receipt lands in the GeraEats app and (if requested) via email.
GeraEats vs. menu.am vs. Wolt
menu.am is the domestic incumbent and the first mover in Armenian food delivery. Wolt has been present intermittently. GeraEats differentiates on three axes: (1) lower delivery fees because the rider network is shared with GeraRide, (2) integrated Idram one-tap checkout as a first-class default rather than an add-on, and (3) cross-product GeraCoins earn/redeem. For a user already on the Gera ecosystem, ordering via GeraEats compounds value back into the rest of the stack.
Diaspora angle — send a meal home
A recurring feature request we received from diaspora users: can an Armenian in Los Angeles order a Friday-night dinner for parents in Yerevan and pay in USD? Yes. Add the parents' address, choose the restaurant, pay in your home currency from your US / French / Canadian / Russian card, and the platform delivers in AMD-billed Armenia. It is one of the highest-retention use cases we see.
Cross-product
